The Eastern Cluster of Lutheran Disaster Response is sponsoring:
Long Term Recovery Leadership Training
Kamp Kairos in Crisfield
September 4 – 6, 2024
The purpose of the event is to increase their expertise and capacity to provide support to communities and State VOADs when a LTR group or committee needs to be formed.
Teaching and learning for the training is centering around our long-term recovery efforts following Superstorm Sandy and the present LTR effort following the October 2021 Tidal Flooding event. The training event is bringing back together many of the ESLTRC Staff that lead the Sandy response along with community leaders, clients that had new homes built, members of the ESLTRC and county and city officials.
Anyone interested in taking part in the training camp can contact Julia Frank.
